Leucotron is a Brazilian company located in the so-called Electronic Valley, a technology cluster in Santa Rita do Sapucaí, southern Minas Gerais state. We started operations on August 1st , 1983 as one of the first companies in the Electronic Valley, which gathers together around 150 companies nowadays. Leucotron brand name arose from the fact that we used to manufacture equipment for clinical analysis laboratories in those first days.
Telecommunications became Leucotron’s core business in 1988 upon the launch of an electronic PBX exchange, which was developed by our team specifically to meet the requirements of small to medium Brazilian towns in line with their particular realities. Such shift in the business took Leucotron to a new innovation level and completely changed our business focus and our positioning in the marketplace.
Nowadays, we are recognized as one of the most import Brazilian players in both conventional and IP telephone systems, with an outstanding presence all over Brazil, with more than 400 dealers.
